Still In Love With You - Rick Richardson

This may take a moment or two to load ....

Still in Love With You

He feels like crying with his head down in his hands
His world is spinning and he feels he's going mad
There is no point to try to change the things he can't
Though it still hurts to know he's not the only man

He wonders what to do because he's still in love with you

You say it's over and it's all been said and done
And go through lovers like you're really having fun
Just like a story book the feeling had begun
But now it seems somehow it's turning out all wrong

You wonder what to do because he's still in love with you

It seems so hard just to forget her
Although he promises he would
He says he'll find somebody better
Although he knows he never could

What we take it seems gets taken in the end
We go through cycles that we never understand
You took from others so you would not be alone
You've had so many now it seems that you have none

You wonder what to do and hope he's still in love with you

NOTES:

This song was recorded at Apple-wood Studio in West Seattle. I am playing guitar and singing the vocal.  A.C. Watson was also playing guitar on this one.

This was one of those songs that I could make up a "bad future if you don't like me". Even though that was not how the future worked out at all it was therapeutic to think about it at the time.
